We partner only with people we have tried and trusted relationships with, who bring real value to the table, and we work hard at one thing in particular: that working with our partners is as good as working with us.

We do not add partners often, and never quickly. Three things have to be true before anyone appears on this page.

Tried and trusted

We do not partner on the strength of a pitch. Every partner here is someone we have worked alongside and watched deliver under real pressure. The relationship comes first, and it is earned rather than agreed.

Character and paperwork

We put every partner through the mill on both. Paperwork is how you respect a relationship, not something you skip because you have one. The obligations, the cover and the awkward questions get settled at the start, so nothing needs renegotiating at the moment it matters.

Value we do not hold

Every partner offers something we genuinely rate and deliberately do not do ourselves. We are not interested in reselling. What we bring you is their experience and their judgement, not just their offerings.

Monocula

Cybersecurity advisory, built for the Australian and New Zealand mid-market.

What they do

Monocula is a cybersecurity consultancy working with mid-market organisations across Australia and New Zealand. Their work covers detection and SIEM, where the measure is the quality of the alerts rather than the number of them, data security across cloud and on-premises environments, and identity for both people and the non-human accounts that quietly hold the keys: service accounts, APIs and machine credentials. They run continuous breach and attack simulation to validate that defences hold, and they answer the unglamorous question most security programmes avoid, which is whether the spend is returning anything.

Why we partner with them

Security sits inside every transformation we run, in the governance, the data platforms and the AI. It is not our specialism, and we would rather say so plainly and bring you someone who lives it.

Two things settled it. Monocula backs specific technologies because they have tested them and believe they outperform the incumbents, not because of what a vendor pays them, which is the same conviction test we apply to AI. And they translate in both directions, deep enough for the engineers and clear enough for the board, which is the gap most security advice falls straight into.

Logan has spent more than two decades in enterprise technology go to market, starting as an industry analyst before moving through marketing and channel leadership at global technology vendors including IBM and Lenovo, then into cloud and digital transformation sales at Vodafone and Umbrellar. Most recently he spent six years as Head of Sales for Kordia's cloud division, building the go to market and vendor relationships behind its growth, before founding Monocula to focus on the problem he kept seeing from the vendor side: security spend and security outcomes do not automatically track together, and someone independent needs to say so.

He is our contact and the reason this partnership exists. The relationship came first and the diligence followed, in that order, which is how every partnership on this page is built.

Parametric Memory

Persistent, verifiable memory infrastructure for AI agents.

What they do

Parametric Memory builds the memory layer that sits between an AI agent and everything else: the fast, predictive tier that keeps the right context warm before the agent asks for it, and that survives every session, tool call and restart a vector database or a knowledge base does not. Every memory is committed to a cryptographically verifiable structure the moment it is written, so an agent, or the person relying on it, can check that nothing was altered behind the scenes rather than simply trusting the provider. It runs as a native Model Context Protocol server, so it plugs into Claude and other MCP-compatible agents directly, with no separate SDK to integrate.

Why we partner with them

Agentic AI is a growing part of what we build, and the honest problem with agent memory is not whether it remembers, it is whether you can trust what it remembers. That is a specialist infrastructure problem, not a transformation problem, and we would rather bring you someone building it properly than bolt together our own version.

What settled it is the same test we apply everywhere: does the claim survive being checked. A memory layer that can prove its own integrity, rather than asking you to take its word for it, is exactly the kind of verifiable foundation responsible AI deployment needs.

Glen did not arrive in software the usual way. Two decades in hands-on diagnostic trades came first, automotive engineering, then marine engineering, including running his own marine engineering business, before he retrained into software through Auckland University of Technology and moved into research and development engineering on IoT and AI systems. Parametric Memory, which he founded and now leads from New Zealand, carries that same instinct: find out what is actually true underneath, rather than take the reading at face value.

Millwater Consulting

AI corrective architecture reviews: an evidence-based read on whether an AI system is real engineering or a vendor wrapper.

What they do

Millwater is a team of technology architects and engineers, founded by people who built hyperscale systems inside Google, Atlassian, Amazon, Goldman Sachs and Westpac, who now build AI, cloud and cybersecurity systems and audit them. Their corrective architecture reviews open the model layer other reviews leave closed: is the AI structurally embedded and defensible, or a thin wrapper over a vendor model dressed up as a product. Every finding is evidence-based, cited to the file and the line, and comes with a remediation plan, not just a diagnosis. They work owner-operated and plain-English, deliberately anti-hype, across Australia, New Zealand and the United States.

Why we partner with them

We build AI transformations. We do not want to be the people marking our own homework on whether what got built is architecturally sound. An independent, evidence-based review is worth more precisely because it is independent, and Millwater are builders first, so their read on your architecture is grounded in what they would ship themselves, not a slide framework.

Patrick spent more than five years at Google, most recently as Field CTO and Security Lead for Australia and New Zealand across AI, data, cybersecurity and infrastructure, and before that as Principal Architect for Google Cloud NZ. Earlier he led the cybersecurity technical area at Westpac through the re-homing of five major security services back in-house, and spent four years at IBM on the Westpac account, including building what was at the time the largest end-user computing platform in the Southern Hemisphere. His career started in Christchurch, where he helped lead the region's largest-ever cloud tender and helped small and medium businesses onto modern cloud platforms in the aftermath of the earthquakes. He also co-founded and co-hosts the NZ AI Community, a vendor-neutral community connecting New Zealand's AI ecosystem.
